Yes I read that yesterday - as if we don't waste enough of our time on the roads getting from A to B, they have to triple the journey! ;)

Did you see the one on Top Gear a couple of weeks ago? Some woman wanted to go south in England somewhere, but avoid a certain motorway.

It gave her directions that included a ferry to france, and a one back!

But it did avoid the motorway...
