What was that? Didn't think Goey was riding a 7R at the same time as Edwards was on the VTR

God, I'm looking forward to seeing the Go-Show back in Green though

in 96 when "those races" took place it was edwards on the yzf750 and slighty on the rvf - RC45 that he had the dices against. slight crashed in the first and a sea gull hit edwards smashing his screen

what year you talking about, in 96 he was on the full works (Muzzy zx7r) the bike hadnt done much except throw him down the road, i think it was monza he crashed big time and broke his collarbone. PI was the first race back - that was the year he was backing it in to honda all day.

the first year he rode in the world supers was 94, he had just won the aus sbk title from mladin. honda wouldnt give him a world supers ride so he walked down pit lane and asked rob muzzy if he would.

turned up in white leathers and as described earlier went off, was running second to foggy when he had the pull over and let mr daytona past - he still had a shot at the title. second race russell was out of contention for the tiltle and gobert went on to win the race on the beautiful muzzy zxr750r - fond fond memories, i was there at the track screaming my lungs out :D :D :D

He was up against it with a near stock bike on whatever is left over tyres and no budget to work with. If you ask guys like Krusty (and I have) he will tell you that Anthony can still ride the wheels off almost anything with two wheels, and punted that doggie Honda like no-one else could. Also that if he had there equipment, they wouldn't see whch way he went!

So Phill or Striker what race is it we have to find to view it yet again, I saw it on fox at pontis in between some wsbk racing last year and have to double check that it was in fact a kawasaki.....the bloke can overtake thats a skill I havn't seen in the local kawasaki riders lately and hope to see some in the next season. :D
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Hurrah! The Go-Show is back where he belongs. Woop woop woop woop!

The most exciting race I can remember from him was Donington WSB in 96. That Kwak looked like it had a hinge in the middle of it!

It was the last round of 96 world superbikes. It was the year that Corser won the championship.
Go Show was the partner of Simon Crafer from NZ. The team was Muzzy Kawasaki.
Gobert won both races and then stripped off on the podium and threw his leathers in to the crowd. This race is regularly replaid on Fox in between races and no doubt will be shown again this year. I also think that some one on this forum will have a copy surley.

I have it on DVD. Quality is ok, it was a very worn out video tape it was copied from.
