best oil for zx10r

:o Hi guys and girls im new to this forum and would like to know as to whats the best type of oil to use for a zx10r 2004 model thanking you in advance

I'm currently using Castrol GPX in mine. Its a semi synthetic oil with a 10w 50 viscosity so it has wide temp range. Best thing is its $36 for 4 litres. I change every 3000ks though.

A few of the guys here are running the Q8 full synthetic as its a good oil and the Q8 distibutor looks after us with discounts.
As your not too far from Narelan Kawasaki, drop in there as Richard will give you a good deal on the Q8..

G'day mate and welcome. Good to see another 10 in Sydney.

I've got the Q8 stuff in mine and I've used Motul 5100. They both seem the same albeit a bit pricey.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.
