Is there any confirmation on who will replace Josh?? Wayne Maxwell is going well and he is now more experienced than last time he was at TKA.

I had a chat to Josh today at the creek, I told him if he gives me a few of his old tyres he didn't have to give his KSRC shirt back.. :-)

He believes Maxwell is replacing him and wasn't sure about Shannon Johnson..

I was also eyeing of his Kawasaki leathers, that he no longer needs...

It doesn't matter who they replace Josh with. If TKA aren't prepared to spend money they will always finish behind the other manufacturers.
This has been their problem since Craggill and Buckmaster. It is also a problem for their MX team.

Very True..
If they spent the $ they'd have the Aus championship this year...

Any idea who will replace Josh on the 600 next year? Perhaps Chris Seaton might get a go? It will be interesting to see how many riders team green run with next year. Whether the riders do both Superbike and Supersport or they are kept separate.

Good luck to Josh next year. Hope he doesn't turn green when the new ninja goes screaming past him!

I can confirm Chris Seaton is not geting the ride..
Spoke to Josh and Chris today and got the story.. :?

Wayne Maxwell is getting the ride and will probly do 600 and superbike and Shannon Johnson will stay on the superbike..

Chris isn't sure what he is doing atm, he is racing in the NZ champs on a Yamaha over the break.
Like a lot of us, he is brand loyal and wants to stay with Kawi, but there not making it easy from what I hear..

I don't have a problem with TKA not taking on Seaton and having Maxwell run the 600 as well as the Superbike. But, in my opinion, it is ridiculous that Kawasaki would only run one supersport bike and make it hard for others to run their 600 competitively. Now I won't go completely to town on them as I don't know how they operate, budget, etc but I would have thought the more bikes on the grid for the big K, the better. What happens if Maxwell suffers injury in preseason or just in one of the rounds? They are screwed. Surely they could run some satellite teams similar to what Adam Fergusson and Honda are doing in superbike next year.

Also, good luck to Wayne Maxwell next year. He is a real hard charger and I would love nothing more than to see Team Green back where it belongs at the pointy end of the field.

I spoke to Wayne on Friday night at the bike show. He is doing both 600's and superbikes.

they start testing in 8 weeks, hopefull that is a good sign as the season starts in february next year.

i attended the official award ceremony last night, had a great night and fortunately/unfortunately i will be doing the commentary again next year.

chris seaton has been offered a ride with the electroregenisis equip as team mate to young gareth jones. more than likely this will mean they will be riding yamaha's unless the new zx6 is a ball tearer and the big k tips in some help.
