It is a shame. Sete would be a major asset for Kawasaki. Image if they could have signed both Sete and big Max :?:

Hmmm, not much love for Sete then? Well, I for one am a tad disappointed that he's gone out on such a poor note. That curse Vale (the witch doctor) put on him after Qatar certainly worked well. Oh well, guess he'll head home with his millions of dollars and supermodel girlfriend and slowly go about rebuilding his life.
Ah, computer dating. It's like pimping but you rarely have to use the phrase "upside your head" - Bender Bending Rodríguez

Dont froget Sete was a playboy racer from the start, he NEVER raced for money...
I think Max is the same, ie, he already HAD money before he got fame. (and they prob all rich now)
I think there are a lot of the MotoGP crew could retire tomorrow but for the fact they get to ride the best bikes in the world.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

Sete's grandfather was the founder of Bultaco so he should never need any money.
All jokes aside. If it was not for the freakish ability of Rossi, Sete would have been regarded much differently as he would have had two world championships under his belt and would not have acted like a petulant child.
