I'm from Melbourne, I did live in Warwick for a little while, not too far from Toowoomba. I'm suprised how much toowoomba has changed, had a little look there earlier this year.
The VTR I rode was a 2000 model with Yoshi pipe (i think) on it. Very rough riding, then again it was the first time I sat on a V-twin. Does good wheelies though, I guess I'm a bit too used to the 12 which is close to double the power.
Yeah i do know what you mean. The missus VTR has Micron pipes, K&N filter, fancy Uridium? plugs and leads, Stage 2 Kit thru it, different gearing, and this thing literally rips ya arms off. My mate has a ZXR12 and we were heading down the Warrego towards Brissy and although the 12 has far superior legs up top, it had a shitload of trouble keeping up with the VTR from around the 60k to 240k.....
Mind you, once it hit its straps it was see ya later VTR....

Great... my girl's last partner rides a Fireblade, so I was thinking that you might have been him...( Geeeezzz, would'nt that have been awkard?) I'll post some more pics later of the VTR and the rest of the Firestorm fraternity...
