The book "Motorcycle Suspension Technology"

Postby Dirk@Wilbers » Fri Oct 20, 2006 7:50 pm

Dear motorcycle community,

Wilbers Products Germany is proud to introduce our new book: „Motorcycle Suspension Technology“. Its predecessors are already best sellers in Germany, so now we would like to introduce this book to the international market.
Honest, informative and richly illustrated, the book deals with the following topics in detail:
• Assembly and function of suspension systems and spring elements
• Suspension system development and –history
• Correct adjustment
• Maintenance and repair

If you would like to have more information about the book, visit us on: http://www.wilbers.de/usa

Best Regards

Dirk

Why not?

It's a small world, so I'm told!

I did get a price from Steve, but it is more than I want to pay...it'd make more sense to trade it in on something with more decenter suspension to start with, than pay that sort of money on such a new bike...

Cmon Tanya i told ya a long time ago that if you took it to LAE and he didnt get it right I would pay for it. I was joking of course, I have no money due to PI spill, thats my excue and I am sticking to it, but thats not the point.
Alex WILL get it right for you (you got a PCIII eh? )

mayber he will give you a turbo12 for a shop bike
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

its not the power commander froggie :(

pretty sure there's some wiring working loose around the throttle sensors, as it runs good when they're touched, then goes bad again, just to find it though...

Kind of...

Most of the shock swaps alter the suspension geometry a bit, so I am told, and require a bit of hacking into the plastics and squishing the battery...

One of the guys had his standard shock rebuilt up at a mob in Beerwah, and for this purpose I have a secondhand std shock on it's way...

But price away!

Sorry everybody, that I'm back so late...
Was a busy week at work so I had not the time to visit before.
There has been some discussion going on here 8) .

@Felix, I'll be glad to tell you what a new suspension for your 2005 SV650S is goint to cost if we deliver it directly to your doorsteps.
In my opinion you are right and it really IS a small world!
As we are not an official sponsor/vendor yet, please contact me here: mailto:kontaktusa@wilbers.de and I will tell you all the details, ok?

Take care guys
