hey all, still going at it. the test fairing is sitting under covers. I have had huge delays with the car at the moment and am still hoping to get this first one done to see how it turns out.
My computer has also been down for a while so I havnt been able to update. I hope to have some sort of result in the next few weeks. ! fingers crossed!
the pressure is off the car for the moment so I should be able to find some spare time after work .

(edit) Iv got the fairings sitting where I can see them, which gives me the shits, but reminds me about 300 times a day lol, the way some things turn out at work are shit hot so I cant wait to see how these go. I should be able to make them so they come out whatever colour is desired and wont need spray painting, the black looks awesome

hey guys bit of an update, in what little spare time I have had at work Iv done a bit of a test, i tried a small amount of resin on the plastics and on the back it eats into it, but with the old paint there it seemed to release okay. Im just worried about the heat involved in making the full sized fairing and if it isnt braced properly it will warp, its VERY fiddly as well, I have a bloke there to help me in his spare time, who has been doing it for years so I hope to have a decent result in the next few weeks.
I have not bought any other model farings, im just testing on my own peice at the moment but if it all works I might try my luck at some other ones
Ill try get my shit together but it very hard to find the time, and its a bit touch and go at work at the moment ( i dont want to piss anyone off hehe)

cool thats one of the first things I want to get
I should have some spare time in the afternoons this week so I will start bracing up the fairings ready for the big test :)
Hopefully I will have a result soon. (or a severely mangled fairing hehe)
