Yoshi - tenme

Postby red_dave » Mon Nov 01, 2004 10:29 pm

Hi all

I have been offered a carbon Yoshi pipe for my 02 636 for $600...

Without re-visisting the Micron Vs Muzzy debate, what do you guys reckon?

I just want a loud-ass pipe so I can hear my bike mid corner but don't have a huge amount of "pocket money"...

The loudest pipe you can get is D and D but a Yoshi aint all that bad even though every second Spewzuki has one. Reliable brand and good price so Id go for it.

Megacycle exhaust are loud - I had one on my '03 636. You can get a new Carbon fibre one for around the same price or the polished alloy cheaper.

I would go with the $500 cash idea or you can pickup a brand new Micron Slip on for around $650 as with a brand new muzzy.

But if you have your heart set on a Yoshi they are a bloody good pipe and the cheapest I saw them at Powercycle yesterday was $850 and that was in the stainless.

The main thing to worry about is the carbon. If it's going to sit outside for long periods of time then you might have some problems with it fading. Otherwise go for it 'cause yoshi's sound nice...well my one does anyway

Theres no disputing the quality of a Yoshi, if its in totally unmarked condition go for it, if not go buy a new micron or muzzy or something.
And like everyone else has said really push for $500.
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions" screw it then i'll just be bad.

$500 wouldnt be bad at all as long as they are in good nick.

Yoshi is better than muzzy or micro in my opinion. so even if one of those pipes is $650 new, ur still getting a better pipe for less.

maybe others might disagree with my opinion.
