The last time I investigated laptops they were slow and lacking power, that was a few years ago........not any more.
This Toshiba P100/801 rocks, fast, great screen and can cope with all I throw at it, just a shame our data base at work is Mac (just means I don't have to foul it up with personnel, customer, and stock files).The frame rates are excellent on 3d shooters as well, come on, ya gotta have something different to do at lunch time
Main thing is it's wireless, so I can log onto KSRC anywhere in the house or yard, gonna be good on a summers night with a few tinnies in the yard, or after a hard day at work with my feet up on the couch
Anyhow, I'm going out now for Dads day dinner with the family at the Mean Fiddler(wish me luck, this place is gonna be rammed to the max), if I havent had too much sauce by the time I get back I may well boot her up and do a bit more work NOT
