Anyone looking at fitting a Cruise Control here are
some pics and box details for you to get yourselves
to the Island this year without speeding. Just set and forget ...

Extra pic of the Powerbronze hugger I fitted to keep
road grim off my plate and pipes.

If you are intending riding your 6 down to the Island......one small tip!

The Vic police are dynamite on neat little number plate solutions like yours!!! :lol:

Anyone wanna take bets on how many canaries he gets!!!! :lol:

Thanks a lot EvilSim for the post.

I have been thinking about installing a cruise control on my bike for the ride to PI this year.

now that i know that brand works ok for the 6r i will go get the same one.

Strika what are they so offended about? I have had Qld plod pull me up for a licence check and quized him on the plate location he said it was OK ...

Cannot be photographed maybe ? But you could always argue you had the cruise control so no way you were doing 200k :lol:

btw. that's a nice exhaust !

Hey Evil sim

I just went up to MCS and picked up the same Control as you have.

See the modified picture below. What did you use to mount it to the throttle cable housing like that (or did you just make that up yourself?)

Also did you have to move your brake lever, switchblock or anything?

Yeah take off your throttle hand grip and slide the 'collar / slipring assembly' over throttle. May need to trim just a little bit off your hand grip to make it fit just right. Slid it back on then. Dont use the 'bar clamp' that comes with the kit. Make a small metal bracket to lock 'collar / slipring assembly' to your throttle cable section next to hand grip using existing screws ... all done. No need to move brake lever ect ...
