I want a 600, and i wnat to put a louder exhaust on it, that create more power, I have read and seen a few tests with Yoshi pipes and they actually decreased power! Plus if i am going to put a louder pipe on it i want something that creates power! not just make a noise and lose power!!!

no shit sherlock about Yoshi pipes , so what gave you this idea ?

did you miss this one

or how about this one ?

i doubt very much there is anything wrong with yoshi pipes.... unless for some reason the pipe (or full system?) threw the tune out so much that it made less power.... but theres no way in hell any aftermarket pipe/system will ever make less power than OEM with the right tuning

Yoshi pipes are very open and will give a top end peak HP increase , but this is at the expense of bottom end and midrange

and IMHO they dont sound anywhere near as good as say a Micron or Arata

you wont lose anything you could notice down low with pretty much any slip on pipe vs stock pipe - with ideal tuning of course

Gee I dunno about that, I went for a ride with one of the dudes from our local dealer.... he had the demo, I had my bike....the only difference between the two was the demo had a slip on micron.... mine is completely stock..... and no matter how much he rang its neck, I would just pull away and by a fair bit...... Then again, as you mention ideal tuning... you'd need a PC III for that ;). after my track day the other day, I am damn happy with the amount of power the 636 puts out..... and wont be bothering with exhausts or crap for quite some time.... if at all! Tyres on the other hand...... different story there!

im also tipping your bike has more K's on the clock too, the demos engine could still be a little tight... with 10000k on the clock and a pc3 it would be a different story
