Final line ups for the 2005 British Superbike season are beginning to emerge, with the news that long-standing Hawk Kawasaki rider, Glenn Richards, of South Australia. will be joined by fellow Aussie and Sendo Ducati rider Dean Thomas.
Hawk Racing made the announcement on Friday, October 8, allowing both riders a lengthy off-season to prepare their ZX-10R Superbikes for next year's assault on the title.
"You know, Hawk has been up there all year, winning races and taking podiums. The team finished fourth in the championship and the Kawasaki is looking supurb, so I'm extremely happy," said Thomas
"I know the Hawk crew well from the paddock and they're a great bunch - I can't wait to work with them. Stuart really knows what he's doing and I'm sure we're gonna work well together."
Other Aussie movements in the UK could see Craig Coxhell more form the Vitrans Honda team to a World Supersport Yamaha outfit, while Daniel Stauffer is on the shopping list for a number of front line BSB Superbike teams for '05.
