:)

u cant be serious?? its restricted to 4500rpm in the 1st 4 gears?
bullshit??

Nah Neka serious
comes in strong
suppose to make it more managable in the lower end of the rev range
but when are you really under 4500 anyway
and if i do 300 in 5th (not that i have) and select sixth you slow down
yes a TRE does work and from what i understand tells the ECU that the bikes in 5th
dont know

That works on the models to 2003, but 2004-06 it wont work.

I don't really know if the zx10r is speed limited. As far as i know the tacho doesn't show speeds over 300 (299). So even if you were going over 300 you wouldn't know. I think they changed the laws or made a new gentlemens agreement in japan not to display speeds over 300. That's the reason why bikes with analog gauges nowadays show max.300km whereas before they were like 320-340kms.

I'll try to do my own testing and let you know if it goes over 300, i only had the bike for few weeks and went upto 250 few times but too much traffic during daytime, i'll try to go out late at night and see what this badboy does. On the other hand I get a bigger buzz from acceleration then i do from top speed, so i will be going 16T very soon.
