anybody know anythingh about these bridgestone tyres???? went to the Bridgestone website and found nothing interesting to read there just a picture and its round and black.

Looking for duel compound tyres with hard middles and soft edges to trundle around town on and the current one thats nearly buggered is a bt020 on the rear but its too hard in the shoulders.

found this link.

could go and ask mick the tyre wookie but i dont have a spare day.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

I had the BT56s on my first zx6r (a '97), they replaced a set of dunlop 207s, agressive profile and good grip but took a while to warm up and not much chop in the wet, thats about all I remember, was about 5 years ago though.

These tyres are very old technology Barrabob. They first appeared around ten years ago!!! Personally i believe you could spend your money more efficiently with something a little more modern.

thanks for the replys, i was ringing around a bit looking for a replacement rear tyre and the 57 was sugested and i am using the bike for courier work at the moment so hard in the middle and chewy on the outside is good.

I have a bto20 on there at them moment and have worn the middle right out ouf it but the outsides are good, its the same one i went to PI on in october with a big heavy bag on the back and the bke feels much better without the bag so i supose its another 020 for me for the time being.

took a fair b9it of searching befor i realised that the 57 was replaced by the 020.

Bob, if you're going to Mick, I've found that I get more k's out of a Pilot Road, and they're cheaper than '020s. YMMV.
