Never Tyre of this ...

Postby Nanna10r » Mon Oct 11, 2004 8:03 am

Ok folks I'd like some advice please. The Tiggr WILL Need a new Back tyre for the return Trip from PI. Front tyre has about 3k left so it should be ok atm. It still has the OEM Michelin Pilot Sports fitted an I Dont mind them at all. But was really impressed with the Bridgestone 010 / 020 combination on the little Fzr6.
I'd really like some feedback especially from 02/03 9 owners that have tried something else. Or even stayed with the michies.
Cheers Brett

This isn't the great tyre debate either. thanks.

Brett
I have the new Pilot Power on the rear and its the best tyre I've had IMO
I'd never go back to Dunlops again.
But If your going to ride back home it may be worn out by the time you get back

Thanks mate, just to update I bit the bullet an fitted a pair of Bridgies, 020 back $253 & a 014 front $158 fitted n scrubbed by "Tyres for Bikes" Blacksoil. Done 100ks on them so far.
"Much Happy Camperness" here.
The Front feels SO much lighter. I kept the old Michies for a track day or two later on.
cheers Brett
