I changed mine *specifically* for the note, as the stock can is just way too quite, and actually dangerous because of it, imho.

So for what its worth, I bunged on a Yoshi RS3 can, it sounds fuckin' great, plenty noisy (but not illegally so), and also looks a million bucks. I couldn't give a rats if it added 3 or 4 hp, who cares when you have over 160 to start with ?? :P :P :P :P

I have a full Akrapovic Titanium on mine ... my brother has a yoshi rs3 slip on ... both sound fuggin sweet. The yoshi is a little louder/throatier than the akrapovic.

I have just put a 'micron' on my 12 and at idle it is just a tad loud but open it up and it announces it's presence (fairly screams), I believe they have bolt on cans for about $650 or a mate has the 'stayintune' SS Can on his and he paid $550 sounds ok but not as good as the micron (imo).

This little black duck has an akroprovic, couldnt believe the weight of the stock system

The sound is great, watch for any drop in performance down low, and you are likely to have a constant buzz not just one that comes in around 4k.

Micron full serpent with ultra lite Tit can....
Wicked, throaty, light (the end can is AMAZING  )
BUT put a fuggen big hole below 2,500rpm
Still not out even with PCIII, BMC's and Dyno. BUT a lot better.
Alex at LAE reckons it needs a Muzzy ignition advancer (on back order).
See other posts for Dyno charts
BUT wicked at 3sec (from 112 to 153Hp)
Looks OK to but wish I had went for colour change tit...

Muzzy Advancer is so easy to install even easier than your bmc filters. 3 bolts new advancer has a key-way only goes on 1 way. put it back together. Hay presto. 8)

Wish i had of known that with the bmc filters there was no were to put ya tank holderupera. not that i wouldnt have got em just would have been nice to now in advance.

Ditto on the tank holder upper-er !!
Figured I only have the tank up at home anyway so it is in the tool box.
How well did the Muzzy Advancer work and did it get rid of the up to 2,500rpm falt spot ??

I MUST KNOW

I also installed the muzzy velocity stacks at the same time and no, i dont have a flat spot at 2500.

I dont have a custom map yet and am just using the muzzy map i got off the net, thats what was recommended to me from a local guy.

Against my better judgement i ran it on the dyno at the local tractor dealers(they r the only ones in town with a dyno  ) and found that it runs lean at 4 to 5000 then richens up and runs that way to the redline.

Disappointed with the final hp figures and am puzzled to know why they only ran it to just over 270 in top ?? when i asked the hardley guru told me that it wouldnt have made any more power past that point anyway

How busy was alex at LAE ????
