06 ZX6R Exhaust

Postby anastasia » Fri May 05, 2006 5:05 pm

Looking for advice on upgrading my exhaust.

Thinking about the Akrapovich because I think it looks the best, though a friend of mine said it looked too much like the standard.

He suggested the Arata. Anyone know anything about that one?

I don't really like the way it looks.. I think it looks like it doesn't quite fit properly.

Those three are the ones I've been looking at most.

I like the look of the dual outlet Micron one.

Go the Akra..... thats what I want..... I wouldn't bother with the titanium though... alot of xtra $$$ for about .5kg of weight! As in the ss system, the can is still titanium / carbon end cap....

Don't forget you'll need to get a PCIII usb also, and an K&N / BMC style air filter.....

Personally, I like the look of the stock can, and prefer something that is very similar....that being said, I can't really use all the power I have effectively.....so I'll spend the $$$ on track days etc instead ;)

Akra & Arata are probably dearer because of where they are made?
Maybe slightly better Quality as well?

That's my dream bike and I have different view. I reckon the standard pipe looks much better than those round/oval aftermarkets. How to make it louder is the question

The nearest thing to compare is those Two Brothers pipes I've seen in Kawiforums. Looks sweet.
