03 zx6r race glass question

fitting my glass and i just noticed that when the tail is bolted up with the undertail on and everything it has some free play up and down... wtf ?

is it only the two bolts on either side that hold it on ? ? or am i missing something ?

any help would be tops

I have the same thing with my ZX10R, only four bolts at the front holding it on.

The tail piece has some movement but is no big deal, just remember not to push on it too much.

If it bothers you just bolt it too the rear of the subframe on the underside.

ahh cheers mate, it probably moves up and down a few cm's was kinda worried :-/

didnt want it ejected from the bike at 200km/h

fark yeah, sorted it , jammed a folded up bit of paper between the tail unit and where one of the screws goes in, its nice and snug so should stay put and no more tail movement

It holds zx7's together, should work on zx6's

Mine is a bit wobbly but you sit onthe seat not the ductail.

I put 2 rubber knobs/grommet thingys in subframe holes when my racetail is bolted on & it sits snug without any movement.
Mine has a bolt on top that holds it on as well as the 2 front holes, so is different to other 636 mountings I have seen.
