Yep have to watch that loose licnce territory learnt my lesson there but it wont be long and I will be back in the saddle again.

Theres a few advertised about the place in my price range saw a nice 03 before on bikesales with a rack and braided lines the rest stock for 13000 which seemed reasonable but i like the better stoppers on the front, had a bike some years ago that went way better than it stopped and its a recipe for disaster.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Big Kev's 05 blue 12r will be on the market very soon Barra.

Pro's
I think they are a BEST of the UBER Sprorts bikes.
Ideal for the "larger" & possibly more confident riders.
They blast through gentle corners at insane speeds better then just about naything you can buy & do it 2 up without a drama.
Low maintenance & Parts are cheapish. They have few mechanical drama's other then the clutch that i am aware of ?.
Brakes can be improved immensily with braided lines.
No one will EVER pass you while your going over 260ks or up a hill.

Con's
For me they are a "barge with a big block shoved under the tank" i can't even get one off the sidestand unless the ground is flat  .
"Dont lend it to Hammer" you wont get it back.
They are a lot more work in the tight stuff compared to the any other zx#r's.
Keeping up a supply of rear tyres to them.
Insurance can be a whack as well.
Oh and the small matter of poking around town in 2nd gear & keeping your licence
Jonno coined the phrase a while back which sums it up nicely.

"Ya Can't go past a 12" 8)

Cheers Brett

Was considering one fab and sorta still am along with a 50cc yamaha scooter the coppers are to hot and I have to work with them as well as play with them.
Might just work for a bit and keep the six as a trackie.

The r4asale on 12s is way underpriced and they are the best bang for your buck on the market at the moment.
dont know if i should be mentioning this here

I'm another one guilty off stepping from a 250 to a 12 and I'd never look back. It's not that bad, just don't use as much throttle till you get used to it. I was afraid of getting bored to quickly so I figured buying one of the fastest things on 2 wheels should fix that. I use it as a daily commuter and would recommend it to anyone provided they have enough self control.

I'm not going to sit here and rave .. I own one ... that says enough.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that one wishing to avoid police attention etc etc ... in a state that is hell bent on ruthlessly persecuting those who dare exceed the speed limit even slightly ... is looking at buying a zx12r!?

It sure isnt a license friendly bike and the only way it will avoid police attention is by outrunning it

Go and buy one ... now
