What pipe on ya 9R?

Postby Tenoq » Wed Mar 15, 2006 7:42 pm

Toying with the idea of putting a pipe on my '02 9R. Really got no idea what's worthwhile, so I thought I'd ask what you lot are running on yours!

So come, cough up! :P

akrapovic......

expensive, but you get what you pay for.

other than that i think the micron and muzzy systems look and sound good.

greg put a megacycle can on the 9 when he had it.
i reckon it looks and sounds great.
and at an affordable price.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

On my old 9 I had a Yoshi RS3. Phaarkin' loud but sounded sensational. Around town it droned a bit through the helmet at 60-70 km/h.

I have an Akra on the 10 and love it. Sounds great and not too loud. Quality is brilliant and looks a treat.
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Megacycle on my 02. The price was right and it sounds nice.

One day when I've got lots of $$ I'll put a full Akra system on it cause they are just horny looking :D
