Dunlops

I commute every day and have Dunlop 220s. I got em cheap(ish) $380 for the pair fitted. I've done about 15,000k and the rear is about worn out now.

Bloody hell, 15,000 km Mike. I was lucky to get 5,000 out of my 208's ????

220s are the sports tourer and I generally sit at 110 on the freeway (i mean 100 ), not hard off the line, not heavy on the brakes. I work the sides hard occasionally (every on/off ramp ), but am fairly easy on the whole bike - just lots of Ks

I've got 208's on the zx6r. With nothing else to compare against but still think theyre a good tyre. I think they take a while to warm up but once theyre warm, theyre probably as good as any other tyre. I've done a couple of track days but havent really pushed them hard enough to find out what they can or cant do. Lets face it, they'll do everyhting they need to on the road.

I had a 208 on the front, it was brand new when i bought the bike.
It lasted about 1000klm before getting replaces with a set of powers.

powers shit over the Dunlop as far as i am concerned.

tyres are just like women all different shapes and sizes, so sample whats around and works best for you on the track or in the sack.

WORST, TYRES, EVER..

especially the ones made in japan.
And yes i've used various types on my old 750, zx9r, and the 10r comes with 218's. I'll never buy anything dunlop again, not even a keyring
