Attempt at a major service

Postby Duane » Mon Feb 20, 2006 9:03 am

Hey peoples, I need to know if anyone in vic has a vaccuum gauge and the measuring tool that you use to measure the gap between the doovalacky and the thingimajiggy valve doovas. (don't worry, theres no sugar, and i have the manual)

Cheers

Borrowed a carbsynch off my neighbour and synched my carbs yesterday, took 20 minutes, tops.

You also reminded me i need to do my tappets too, something about "never having actually done them since the bike was serviced at purchase time" 16 thou km ago . Now that the tanks off, i might get to it after work this week

Good luck getting the carb synch tool and the "feeler guages", i believe thats the magic words youwere looking for....

I've got a mecury carb balancer, with fittings, and feeler gauges. I'll probably be in Nazza Wazza on the weekend if you don't find one before then Duane.
