I'm really lucky to get 200km out of my ZX2R's tank... I normally cruise around at 60 in 3rd, but sometimes switch to 4th... but then I just go 70 or 80 to make is sound around the same revs as when I was doing 60 anyway and end up using more fuel :P

160km is my worst so far, and 220km is my best.

Anyone know where I should be sitting in regards to revs at 60km/h for commuting purposes in order to be the most economical? Gos? Got another pretty graph for us? :)

Also, just had to point out how awesomely misleading the topic is :P I was genuinely interested as to how you got 315km from a light globe.

The funny thing about my ZZR is that it seems to use roughly the same amount of fuel no matter how I ride. Whether I've been doing city commuting with lots of stop start riding, highway riding sitting in 6th at a steady 100km/h, or had a day chasing after the ksrc crew through the Black Spur in third and fourth revving between 8 and 12,000 rpm, somehow I always seem to hit reserve at about 320km.

Maybe I'm just such a fat heavy bastard the poor Kwaka 250 is always pushed to the limit no matter how fast I'm riding.

I used to get 380kms before reserve on my zzr 250 using optimax (i know I shouldnt, but didnt know wiser, and really, didnt have any problems with the bike)

The ZX10 is funny, on synergy 8000 I get 180 before the light comes on, Ultimate 230, and Vortex 98 215 on average...

These ZXR's must be thirsty...
