Back from the GP last year I saw an R1 with no exhaust pipe visible (not even the underseat). It sounded real nice. Loud.

What kind of muffler is that (underbelly ?)

i had a friend with a GSX600 and got a 4 into 2 pipe made up, no muffler and just stuck out the side beding the footpegs,
sounded like a pig till about 9000rpm. then it screamed and untill it backfired flames at the rev-limiter...
dumb bastard rode to work like it for about a month.
