I know its rude to ask, but what is the ZRX roughly worth new.

I'm thinking of getting one in the not too distant future.

retail is about 14500 on the road, but I'd be surprised if anyone paid that.

there is a rumor that this years (2006) may be the last, and they have changed the colour back to lime green instead of the metalic

Cheers,
Matt

More power??, the torque should keep you happy.
A pipe would be a worthy edition, it does free up the top end alot.

I saw a dyno graph compared to 04 Blade, The rex makes more torque through to the 10k rpm limit, only above 10k rpm are the litre bikes making more power & torque, keep in mind the rex is already doing similar speeds at 10k rpm as the blade at much higher revs. It could use a 6 speed box to make better use of this power, but hey thats extra shifts....

If I find the dyno chart i'll whack it up,

You comin out this sunday to PITS?

I have a 2001 zrx and it took a bit of getting used to not having a 6th gear after riding a zx9r, but the roll on in top gear on these things is amazing especially when the jets have been done and u have a full race system fitted, i still havent got my dyno chart back yet, but it stated out at 132hp with just a slip on akra, enjoy lins
Looking for people to ride with in my area or somewhere close.

Yep, a pipe is on the list, just for the look & noise at this stage and maybe some renthal bars but other than that I think I'll just ride it for a bit and then see what I think needs doing.

Should be at PiTS 9ish, so see you there.

Cheers
