[VIC] Weather warning

Postby Duane » Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:18 pm

Just looking at BOM, hail, flash flooding, etc for the greater melbourne area over the next couple of hours.

I thought about posting this to tell everyone who's riding to be careful out there, then it struck me like a lightening bolt.. no one in victoria actually rides, they just buy bikes so they can come get pissed with us...

J/K... but anyways, by any chance (slim slim slim) chance someone from ksrc in melbourne is out in the rain today, take it easy.

KSRC Cares!

Thanks for the note Duane.

Last week when the heavens opened, I watched a rider with pillion (wearing only a singlet and shorts) struggling through 5cm of water that appeared on Montague St Sth Melbourne in seconds. Fortunately they managed to get the bike off the road without incident.

was it a black zx7 with his missus on the back?
if so, i've seen this guy three times squidding in the rain.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I did the two spurs and returned at about 2pm. Not a lot of rain. It was actually welcome in parts as it cooled everything down nicely! :) Thanks for the heads up though!

I was supposed to go to Toorak and Richmond. but it started raining..
Beers after work for the receptionist that's leaving.. So I might just have to hang around till the weather clears up enough for me to go home.

*sighs*
