I GOT MY KNEE DOWN!!!!!

smoothly and consistently through the southern loop but better through siberia. touched down in honda a few times but that took less braking and more balls to get my corner speed up.

generally happy with how i was riding through the rest of the track.

i'm happy and proud of this, that's all that matters in my book
(therefore i'm gonna tell everyone about it)

Woot!

A few more cornering tips from Ronster and hopefully I'll be doing that myself, or making showers of sparks from the centrestand!

I didn't know you had a trackbike as well as your road-going ZX9R? Oh and the ZX2R. How many bikes you got stashed away?

Good form Vince, looks great.

Remember if you TRY to get your knee down, you will go slower.
It will soon feel natural and your knee will become your guide... :-)

john, that is my road-going 9. just added a set of race-glass.
dave, i wasn't trying to get the knee down at first, i was trying to be smoother through the corners and it touched down.
then i tried cos i knew i could do it and suddenly it was a lot harder. and not anywhere near as consistently. then i went back to concentrating on the other little things, like spotting the exit of the corner and hitting that hard and before i knew it all i had to do was turn my head a bit more, the bike and knee would follow, i'd touch down and drive out of the corner. much more fun than wobbling around goin "c'mon u prick get down!"

and mick, yes. yes it does. :D:D:D 8)

WTFG Vinnie, i'm envious but having said that, I a) don't have leathers and b) don't have knee sliders in my jeans so not going down that road in a hurry personally :)
