Putty Rd, Halfway house has no petrol

Postby krusty » Sat Jan 21, 2006 4:34 pm

If you are planning to go up the Putty Rd tomorrow don't plan on the Halfway house having petrol because I was there today and their tanks are dry.

There was a guy there who was on reserve and didn't have enought to get to either Broke or Colo Heights so I let him siphon some from my tank (he was lucky I get over 400km/tank).

I was there today and there is still no petrol so there will probably still be none on the weekend. There is now a sign at Colo Heights Ampol (his petrol is 119.9 today, cheaper than elsewhere!) saying that Halfway house is out. So Colo Heights and Broke have to still be fuel stops for those with limited fuel range.
