since i've had the 9 for about 4 months now, i think it's time i got rid of the zx2.
however, i started it on the w/end, and it took about 5 minutes to warm up to the right revs with the choke on.
if i touched the throttle at anytime before this, it would cut the revs and it even stalled at one point.
took it for a thrash to clear the cob-webs-out and thought i had fixed the problem, it has been sitting idle for quite some time now. but it still does it.
and it really bogs down low revs in 1st, which isn't too much of a problem, cos you can just drop the clutch at 10 grand without even getting a tank slapper.
but this causes another problem.
the clutch slips under load in 3rd mostly but also 4th.
any time you give it a wrist-full actually it seems to slip.
now concidering the wopping 30hp or whatever it is. i'm guessing i need a new clutch/springs.
so i come to you all for a few possible reasons for the running-like-crap problem and somewhere i can buy a clutch kit that will at least deliver to australia. somewhere i can get a new one in melbourne would be best. but if there is another solution, speak up.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
