I think I was running Dunlops.. Can't remember what ones but being a large race style rim the options are limited.. I had the softest of the offerings..

I'd rather sacrifice a few k's for the best grip I can get.

The Problem with the zxr250 is the rim sizes, hardly any of the major tyre makers cater to a skinny 18 inch rear, it's a 140/18/60 yes ?.
I think you'll be hard pressed to get a Bridgie 014
If the fronts a 120 not a 110 you can get a pilot power to fit it.

At worse settle for the Bridgestone BT45's i know they will fit for sure.
Dont forget to get Steel Valve stems. Not all mobs use them in order to save the $3 a tyre.

hth.

no real benefit imo. Plus I think it's a pretty tight fit, so I doubt you'll get a wider tyre in there.

What are the stock sizes, my fzzzr6 has old school sizes as well & i went up to a 150/18/60 from a 140.
The reason for this was to get a Bridgestone 014 on it instead of a bt45. I dont think it handles better (widertyrewise) but its certainly a better trye with improved feel.
I had a POS Dunlop rideen on it previously absolute crap compared to the 020 it replaced or other tyres available now..

GPR 70's for sure. Sticks like shit to a blanket. They'll fit. Had them on my old 2R.

Just ring the shop before hand to make sure they have one.
