Hats off to Billy Baxter and on a kawasaki

Blindfold Motorcycle Speed Record
Britain's Billy Baxter reached a speed of 265.33 km/h (164.87 mph) while riding a 1200 cc Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle unsighted at RAF Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, UK, on August 2, 2003. Baxter lost his sight after an eye infection he picked up while serving as a Staff Sergeant with the army in Bosnia in 1997.
Billy "The Whizz" Baxter realized he could make an attempt at the blindfold speed record after a skiing trip to Italy. "I realized that if I could ski, I could ride a motorbike again," he explained. With the help of the Royal Artillery Motorcycle Display Team, he developed a three-way radio communications system involving himself and two outriders behind him.

That is impressive indeed, got to 230 once on my 600 then backed off, wouldn't think it had much more in it and roads were damp so wasn't keen on going much harder :)
