The er6n in the flesh...

Postby Stereo » Sat Dec 17, 2005 9:53 am

So I was in Cosways today and had a look at the er6n....

its short, its not too bad looking (the headlight is a bit ugly) but overall its a nifty bike... Definitely better looking in real life than in photos... saw it in two colours (black/gold and silver/red) clever how they have different colour frames and stuff...

The guy that works at cosway has got one to race in the twin lite series this year... he reckons they kick ass compared to the other 650 twins... but he might be biased...

Reports have been positive from o/s so far so fingers crossed. However the fellow you speak of is a rather handy steerer............He was usually in the top four or five of the future champions class in the Oz champs this year. That doesn't sound all that good, until you find out that he was on a 600, against the litre bikes

Yes Riko Partoosh will be competitive on it!

Neat, Riko offered to give me tips if I go to a track day (apparently he is an instructor or something too)..

Made an enquiry at Midtown Kawasaki today while I was there getting engine oil (and checking out the chicks).
Was quoted $9990 machine price. Plus ORC....it'll add up to be about $11k.

The salesman was quick to offer me a test ride, but I refused. And he was really keen on booking me in for a test ride tomorrow or next week.

Anyway, I sat on the bike, it felt comfortable and light. Btw, I'm very small size.

Not too bad, I might get a colour each if I win the lotto this sat. :P
