Bike Moved

Postby Draven » Mon Apr 17, 2006 2:19 pm

There is some real assholes out there, while i was at work the other night, i got a phone from a girl who also works at the samer club but was off duty, asking me where i had my bike parked, i told her where and she said ummmi think you might want to come outside... i started shitting myself as all sorts of things started going through my head, when i walked out the front door i could see my bike wasnt there, my stomach sunk to my knees and my heart went up to my throat as i said where the F&#K is my bike, therte was also a big group of drunken guys out front waiting for a taxi, Sarah (girl off duty) walked over and said her & her boyfriend walked out and saw one of the guys moving my bike, her boyfriend ran over and stopped him just as he was putting it in another parking spot behind the big bins, i started going off my head but as i was on duty and i cant risk my job for anything all i could do was yell abuse at him from a very close position, But Sarah's b/f wanted to more about it himself but Sarah and myself told him not to, after all the yelling abuse etc finished i told them to leave the property and wait for a cab up the road, and the sober ones of the group took them away so there wasnt anymore trouble, i checked my bike over in the dark for drop marks but couldnt see anything, moved it back to my carpark and went back to work, but i was evan more pissed off when i started riding it home as i noticed that when the asswipe dragged it, while the steering lock was on it bent my forks or something in that area so at the moment my handles bars are to the left while the front wheel is straight...

Sorry to bore you guys but i needed to have a rant about it

Mate i would of loved nothing more than making him eat his on teeth, but i was on duty at work and it wouldnt look very good if the Bar Manager had belted the living pulp out of a patron, but the up side is i found out who is was and where he lives

assholes deserve a belting..as for rectifying the problem mate, its pretty simple...
wot bike is it ?? if its got a centre stand sit it on that, then get a volunteer to sit there ass on the pillion seat..hence lifting the front...
failing this (no centre stand) jack up the front using a jack or a front end stand...

loosen the top tripple tree just a little bit..not too much or the forks will fall right out...
loosen the lower triple clamp (see above) ..not too much, just enuf that u can "manipulate" the forks back into position...

the bolts should be abt a 12mm nut horizontal to the ground, going into the triple clamp ....

once uve re-aligned them just tighten them up..problem solvered!!
