He was beating guys on thous there for a while and REGULARLY dragged his elbow...
There was also a 250 GP rider did it all the time but I cant remember who it was...
I did a Dan too... on a 7 (of course) at Darlington, wondered just how far I could lean it, the answer was right up to the point where my knee was almost back to the tankand JUST before there is no more tread /traction DOH !!!!

I remounted, but the bike was terribly bent. Consequently it did not want to turn left. At Broadford this would have been an asset as it turned right like a 250 Gp bikeBut as P.I. consists of mainly lefts, it caused some urgent need for body position modifications
ie- I had to be a Harry hang off to get it to turn left. 3 laps in a row my elbow skimmed the ripple strip exiting siberia!
My mates were all laughing at me from the spectator area at Siberia. I could hear them yelling "Go Harry" as I passed each lap.

I was proud though, as even with a bent bike, and a crash, I still wasn't lapped by the fast guys like Curtain,Moss,Purdue,Morris,Krusty et al......!! Wasn't much in it though:oops:
