AAMI is one of the cheapest options available to under 25's on bikes, and I have not had trouble with them concerning cover or repair work, they have always looked after me,
however they have an interesting write off policy. The damage on your vehicle (car or bike) has to be 75% of the insured value... my ZZR was insured (for some reason

) for $9700, with a redbook value around $7500 and the final damage bill was about $6500 or thereabouts. So... no write off, but great repair job. I am not sure that it is worth the premium saving, particularly for our car... probably is on the bike since they are $1000 per year cheaper than anyone else.
Just thought I'd let y'all know so you can make an informed decision. -J.
