one for our NSW members.....
(and any others travelling in NSW)
On Wednesday March2nd a sitting of the NSW parliment voted 22 to
17 in favour of the motion to disallow the "retrospective exhaust
sticker law"(my wording as theirs is not so clear).
More details can be found at the following;
http://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/prod/p ... f/v3ByKey/
LC20050302
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OPERATIONS ACT 1997: DISALLOWANCE OF
THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OPERATIONS (NOISE CONTROL)
AMENDMENT (MOTOR CYCLE NOISE CONTROL EQUIPMENT) REGULATION 2004
Overly noisy exhausts will still be targetted, but they can no
longer ping you for not having a sticker on your exhaust.
Sanity prevails........
cheers
