After using the very last available grip from the rennsports on the Spurs ride on friday, I finally went and picked up the Dunlop Qualifiers I had put aside. I am going to have them fitted on Monday. However I am in Perth and Brissie for the next couple of weeks so won't get an opportunity to add another opinion to the board

Not that it matters now as several people have posted good reviews of them.
I had a good close look at these new Qualifiers, and I can see why they work so well.
Firstly they are round! I have always had far more success with round tyres. Ones that arn't round tend to be uncomfortable at higher speeds.
Also found that they were both 17 inches in diameter. Now this works out great too as both my rims are 17 inches in diameter too!
They are black, and this works a treat offsetting my charcoal grey wheels.
The sidewalls have this little groove thingy, which from looking at it, matches the groove thingy on my rims too.
These tyres have grooves in them. And they are all squigly. I reckon they look pretty cool. They are almost like flames. Maybe I will have to get one of those tyre pens, and fill the grooves in red to look like my tyres are on fire. Cause that's important isn't it!
They are round across the profile too. Not like those tyres on my car which are all flat on the bottom, nah, my bike tyres taper off at the sides. The dunlop guys tell me thats why my motorbike leans better with them. I don't really care that much, just as long as I look really cool.
They have really cool writting on the side of the tyre. This is pretty important for Cafe cred on a friday night as you know!
Once I have returned from this work junket, I will do a mad run down to St Kilda for youse all, grab a Latte' and then ride back. It's at least 3 kilometres each way, so I will be able to give you a full handling and grip assesment upon my return. As long as I can do fully sick stoppies, and spew some serious smoke on my rolling burnouts I am gunna be happy!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?
