Well the 2013 Triumph 675 did not last very long, it was an exceptional bike to ride and had the potential to be very fast on the track (which I experienced myself at Philip Island over 2 days testing and tweaking the suspension) but now I have decided to rebuild a Suzuki GSXR 1000. I have done a GSXR750 once before, but this time I thought I would give the big one a go and do a 1000.

Of course I have spent a few good nights totally stripping this beast down and cleaning, replacing parts, sorting the electrics out (as some previous owner just had no idea how to set a bike up correctly) and we are up to this stage at the moment. It's looking very good, nice and straight and is humming along beautifully.
This one has a full akrapovic twin exhaust (which I really like the look and sound of), and all of the track mods I would normally do, disconnecting the secondary air injection, removing the exup motor, GB racing engine casing protectors, Woodcraft frame sliders, still coming are the shorty levers, rearsets, Cox radiator guard, braided front lines, BMC street filter. It has only done 10,000 k's and sounds great. Just fully serviced today.. just waiting for more parts to arrive..
Here is is to date... more progress pics will be coming..
