Dedication - Roger Lee Hayden Style

Found this photo of Roger Lee Hayden ready to go our for Supersport practice at Infineon last weekend. He has a tib-fib break and ligament damage from a crash at Barber and he still qualified 10th. He was a lucky boy, the Supersport race wasn't run due to rain so he has a few more weeks to heal.

My mate raced the last supermotard series race with broken foot/ankle?
& still was OZ #3 S1 class?

supermoto is more of an effort considering the jumps etc.

& he had to drive from Charters Towers to Newcastle to do it!!!!!

I went to work for 5 weeks in my cast when I broke my ankle, on my last doctors visit he asked if I wanted the doctors certificate extended for another week, & I said Doc you didn't give me a certificate!
I had 3 days off total after the first 2 days were slightly painful.
