Smittys 'nonbike' ride yesterday

the family had problems choosing my last birthday pressie
so they chose sumfing different
a flight around Melbourne...in a seaplane
departing from Williamstown in front of where we have coffee
Its a 50 min flight covering a lot of territory
and
a damn sight quicker than the bike
(also no chance of losing the licence!)
great flying..nice and still (no bumps)
an afternoon ride I can recommend.....
I am sure the Vic members will recognize the landmarks

2 things I will never do
jump out of a plane .......with just a bit of fabric to stop me going splat
or
off a bridge ...with a rubber band around the ankles
but
strap me in a plane, race car,glider or helicopter
and I am fine
