Anyone got any idea on how to get these b@$tards out?

2 men and a plethora of tools couldn't do it, and I was wondering if there were any tricks to this that someone wasn't telling us.

So much for the heated hand grip plans. At least Mal's hands are toasty now

Karen, I have the haynes manual if that's any help? I simply thought they were bog standard phillips head screws but not looked at them at any lenght.

Thanks Mick, I already have the real McCoy Kawasaki manual, and that just talks about a non permanent locking agent on the screw. I guess it was a bit more permanent than we bargained for.

But if you could have a look for me, that'd be ace.

karen, you need an impact driver to get the buggers out, they put so much loctight on them they are virtually impossible to remove, impact driver is the only thing that will get them out (had the same problem on my zrx)

Sluglie, you're a dead set legend! Dave at Race Replica armed with his impact driver had them out in 10 seconds flat!

Later today I'll have those bloody heated hand grips fitted if it kills me!
