bought another bike.. shes finally back on the road

bought it the other nite.. was selling for $4,000 and brought one of my bike mates along with me .. and without even trying the guy dropped the price down to $3,200 DONE. SOLD.
it needs a service/tune badly, getting some of my mates to assist with the service etc this weekend.. and guess wat… im back on the road!!
cant really compare the ZZR600 to this ZXR250 – but all I can say is… feels damn lighter and better to ride!!

That can almost be called "pontikat orange".
Anyhoo, well done on the purchase. First thing i can suggest is flush the fuel system out, drain the floats, synch the carbs, see if that makes an improvement tune-wise, always seems to be the main thing that goes awry, Also if it has issues after trying to do that, get your mates to check the carb diaphragm's to make sure they aren't torn/got holes in 'em (alight smear of silicone is the best fix for that).
Other than that r.e. "running" smoothness. I guess just a general once over is needed, especially with a "new" bike. Funny enough after getting the thing running half decently. i've allways ended up replacing/rebuilding the suspension on the last few bikes i've had.
Damnit, your making me think about stripping the plastic off my gpx and checking the cam clearances tomorrow

heya mike.. got all that stuff sorted... bought all the required bits at mca today... sooo pumped!! cant wait!!
but yeah.. it is weird.. going backwards.. 600 to a 250 oh well... in time i'll be back with the big toys

BTW is it gold or orange? cant quite tell....but looks shmick anyway.
