Bike Returned!

Hi guys

I've been keeping it on the low-low until I got confirmation from the cops but I am most relieved to report my bike has been recovered!

Certain details I can't reveal for legal reasons but I can say the persons involved with the theft have been detained by police and charged.

I have to thank Gary at Pro Kawasaki Springwood for his extremely quick thinking after being indirectly contacted by the thieves looking for a throttle cable, without his information my bike would never have been found. Citizen policing on mine and his part saved the day! :D

The bike is currently being held by police until things are sorted but I should get it back next week with a scrape down the right side where they threw it in their ute and a cracked indicator where it rolled off the side stand - better than no bike at all!

Thankyou to everyone who has provided information and offered help, I am truly grateful.

Also a special THANKS FOR NOTHING to certain staff at Griffin Motorcycles - and they know EXACTLY what I'm talking about, they're damn lucky legalities are making me bite my tongue.

Hope to be back on the road soon!

If anyone knows a painter who could respray my scraped panel on the cheap in the Bris area I'd love to hear from you.

cheers
Brett

Glad to hear it's back Elrond. Get a decent disc lock, carry it wherever you go and that way if you do break down somewhere, at leat you can lock the bastard, probably wouldn't have made much diff in this instance but at least it's a discouragement...
