Gday

Where are people getting track bikes from?

I have been watching the fowles auction site thinking that if a mildly damaged one came up that i thought i could fix i might go for it.

I dont have the money to buy a new bike and i dont want to buy a piece of shit either.

The bike i currently own is fun on the track but i would like something a little faster and soley for track use.

Ive been a couple times now and you could say that maybe i have an addiction :)

the auctions are a good spot, you can eyeball the bike and get a good idea of what will be needed, to fix it up for a track weapon....

e-bay is another place, although it has its own *issues* with bullshit artists and creative photography...

Trading Post /Just Bikes / MC Trader / Bikepoint.

your local classified ads sometimes have the odd *bargain* or 2 as well...

Good luck

Try the affiliated racing clubs newsletters ie- Hartwell MCC or Preston MCC or whatever your local is!!! :) Far better to buy one ready to go, than to spend the cash to convert one. Much cheaper........

Heres the link.
They can be a bit overpriced on some items.
Really need someone to check the bike out "in the flesh' as the pics can be misleading.
