Taken from MRA site.
Dale has asked me to post a request for any riders who can to please be present at Parliament at 9.30 tomorrow (Wed 5/4/06) for the presentation of the petition re the $50 levy.
Denis Napthine's office has asked Dale to be present when he and Robert Doyle make an announcement on the steps of Parliament at 10am regarding the levy
- they want as many riders to be present as possible...

This is the ANNOUNCEMENT!!
Will it be removed or not.
Dear Dale -
As per our discussion, Denis Napthine MP will present the statewide petition protesting against the $54 motorcycle registration tax into State Parliament at 9.30am tomorrow (April 5)
Denis will then speak to the motion in a 90 Second Statement following the presentation of the petition.
At roughly 10.15 to 10.30am, it is expected that a media doorstop will be held out in front of State Parliament about the petition, the $54 tax and wire rope barriers. State Opposition leader Robert Doyle will be in attendance.
As many riders as possible are encouraged to be at Parliament House for the media conference. If you wish to attend in the Public Gallery in State Parliament when Dr Napthine presents the petition, you will need to be there at 9.15am for a 9.30am presentation.
We would love to see as many riders as possible out in front of State Parliament as possible to make this a hit on the evening news (hopefully).
We apologise for the late notice of this but we have had very little notice of the rescheduling of the petition presentation.
Regards,
DAVE REYNOLDS
Office of
Dr Denis Napthine MP

You're not on Netrider (aka the Bermuda Triangle) Kerry, shit doesn't just dissappear without trace or explanation here.
And look, you can even say naughty words without some wanker giving you a warning.

The MRA has a pre election promise from Bracksy (whilst in opposition) that there will be no more WRB's rolled out without some serious investigation into said things, unlike most election promises, at least this one being on paper makes it ok to wipe your arse with....
Doyle (I believe) or at least is transport minister has met with the MRA and yes, the $50 levy will be repealed if they get into orifice, not holding my breath on either count personally...
