Shoei clippy screwy locky visor thingy

Hi all,

I set off riding to work this morning and discovered my visor was just about rattling loose on one side.

I seem to have lost one of the round things which screw down and hold the baseplate (which the visor clips onto) onto the actual helmet. They're the round things which sit right in the middle of where the visor clips in, and on mine there's another on on each side a little further down the baseplate.

I screwed the remaining one down a little more and went on my merry way, but I suppose I should replace the other one sometime.

Is this something that happens all the time and I just need to head down see Tanya who will reach into a box of clippy screwy things and give me 5 for $2.50, or have I managed to break something in a new and exciting way?

Danny

hard to tell without seeing it but it sounds like the screw has just come out.
Pics would help :)

if it is just a screw any motorbike should would be able to help mate :)
And if you have broken the base plate (extremely rare on a shoei) they're easy to get

but not impossible as one of my mates can attest after discovering his was broken half way down to the GP last year...however he got the bits lined up and screwed back in and still hasn't bothered replacing anything yet
