Hey all,
Have just got my hands on a 94model zxr250

some guys son smashed it into a tree, and its been sitting with no one interested in fixing it, a guy who said he would buy it never came back, so the owner told my brother if he can get it out of the shop he can have it (brother has a van :D)

And here we are, I drove up there that night to have a look at it
no top fairing, bent forks , gauges still intact, although the bracket was mashed up, and snapped off at the frame

drove it down to my house, then dropped it off at a frame straightener and 900 bucks later its almost ready to go
At first I was stressing out cause I didn’t even know if it started and I didn’t want to waste so much money on it if it didn’t work
Not to mention the idiot wrecker that offered me 50 bucks for it, saying it would cost over 3 grand to fix to road worthy condition , nice try mate :P

I have had it on the road with the help of a Pepsi bottle as a fuel tank
(the keys are somewhere in the bushes with the rest of the front of the bike) went okay, just have a few problems still

Iv got just a few things on the front to get, like the WHOLE front! headlight top fairing, mudguard thingo, plastic bit for the brake m/cyl
Then I have to figure out what hoses actually go where. wiring and fuel lines. etc

Not too keen on purple tho? I’m thinking a respray, maybe polish the rims. I’m new to bikes, loved Kawasakis since the day my dad took me to school on one, but have only ever been around my commodores, and more recently toranas.
Pretty basic stuff
Heres some pics
pics may be a bit big, ill just replace them with a link if so.

ill get some pics of it all straightened out, looks a bit ugly with no bits on it ! looked even more ugly riding it around the block a few times!

Luckily its a carborated bike... nice and easy to fix.... (I assume carborated bikes are easier because I understand how they work compared to EFI bikes)...
