Good reading Hoffy (although I *might* be a little biased). I never knew that the GPZ1100 was based on the ZZR-1100

a little back to the future stuff there.
Good to see the editing at AMCN is still mediocre .
Says it all really .. just a big comfy capable sports bike..
Haven't read a bad report on em yet..

I'd say by the fact his number plate is on, and the rear indicators, lack of knee scrapers etc, that he was on a track day ride. (just put a sticker over the headlight so it wasnt on)

On further inspection Sherlock, I'd concur. What track would you suggest it was at then, P.I..? and what corner would you deduce.??
Perhaps the front number is one of those stick on perforated headlight protectors...
Its elementory isn't it..
Regards
Dr Watson...
I'm sure Tex will enlighten us...

Well done my dear blokes.... it is indeed Phillip Island, Trackday, The number is both my homage to the great man, Eddie Lawson and a home made headlight protector made from laminated plastic.
The corner is indeed..... the exit of Siberia.....
I now have a new set of leathers with knee scrapers and I am yet to break them in... (being an old wuss).

I will eventually get to it and put my bike pix in the introductions page...
MUZZY MEGAPHONE
Ted's Advancer
Mettisse rearset footpegs
1109cc Big Bore Kit
78mm Wiseco Pistons
Significant Porting & Polishing
12.5:1 Compression Ratio
ZZR1100 Cams
K&N Pod filters
39mm Flatslide Keihin Carbs
Daytona Steer'n damper
Dyno'd at 151 Hp at the rear wheel. My donk stats are found here ....
http://www.dynobike.com/zrx1100.htm
Now I have a FloCommander installed to make tuning easier for the mechanics.
Next project, Nickel plating the swingarm and associated white metal bits and having the wheels polished and the hubs, spokes and part of the rim clear purple coated (same colour as the stripe).

Holy shit...
Glad I asked...
That dyno curve is mighty impressive compared to the stocker, which according to the above, info tops at around 120hp.......

Wow, thats impressive, but expensive....
Its amazing that just chucking a full exhaust and ZZR1100 cams in there apparently gets you almost 30hp.... wow!
