Hiya people.

As suggested in another thread I should introduce myself in my own thread.

I have just got back into owning a bike as wife, kids and mortgage puts a quick halt on all luxuries. Been 10 years since I have been on a real bike. Previously owned fully worked '83 VF750 and a CB900 Boldor.

3-4 weeks ago I thought about buying any road bike just to get me back on two wheels. I went and looked at Honda, Windsor and was not greatly impressed with their new range of bikes. Suzuki Sandgate had me impressed with the Busa, but once I sat on it I knew it would not throw around real well(personal opinion). Dropped into Midtown Kawasaki and fell instantly in love with this years ZX12R. 5 days later I rode out on a newie. Friggin' stoked.

Threw a full Yoshi system on it as soon as I could. Will be getting PCIII installed in next 2 weeks. Then will start upgrading crank, pistons, cams, all the expensive shit. Chrome as much as I can. Custom tribal paint job to finish it off.

So it was you HemiDuty who placed the sticker under my fuel cap. I must admit, I did a little violated... :P I was looking around going "who the......." lol I run a Motel up the road from Hypermarket. I do pop into your shop a bit and always want some TOOL T-shirts but you never have them. :?

So here I am people. Hiya to all. You can count me in on the next Brisbane ride.

Cheers :P

Welcome.

Good to see you showed your wife and kids who's boss and got yourself a bike ;) and nice choice too!

I can't believe kwaka is taking the 12 out of it's line up. it's gotta be the best selling road bike they make (judging by the members here anyway)

Hi HateSpawn - why do you hate porn mate, its not *that* bad  I originally thought it sounded like a good name for a *DeathMetal* band....

good choice with the 12, you can't beat them.......but ugrading crank, pistons etc etc ?? :? Why bother ? are you riding the wheels off it already ?? The standard gear is more than *just* acceptable

Plenty 12 owners here mate, you'll be right at home.

cheers mate :D

Never pronounced my nick that way before. I do hate porn in a way. If you have seen one, you have seen em all.... ;)

As for upgrading the engine, I mainly am wanting it for strength and reliabilty. Not too sure as for other models, but my zx12 does not have forged pistons in it stock. They will melt once it exceeds 200hp. As my goal is to get to at least 250hp, this is a must. Even might have to look at getting a turbo kit for it, eventually.

Big plans, I know. I just wish I could get it all done now. This bike or my next bike(ZX14) will be a show bike. Keep an eye on this ZX12 now, as it will be flying soon.....

Plan to see you all on the next ride for sure. :)

Cheers :P
